Laila Bachtiar
Laila Bachtiar was born in 1971 in Vienna, Austria. In 1990, she attended the House of Artists in Gugging one day a week but since 2003 she has been attending the open studio daily. Her pencil and coloured pencil drawings predominantly show plants, animals or humans and all have the same origin: a framework of lines from which a motif is composed. Her works can be found in the Lower Austrian Regional Collections, Austria, the Hannah Rieger Collection, Austria, and in the Helmut Zambo Collection, Germany, among others.
