Alfred Neumayr
Alfred Neumayr was born in 1958 in Tulln, Austria. Since the beginning of 2011, he has been visiting the open studio in Gugging daily. Initially he painted with acrylic or watercolours but soon, however, he began to produce finely elaborated Indian Ink drawings. As a base he uses different types of canvases or cardboards then Neumayr experiments with various pens and applies, scratches, pricks and works coloured Indian ink or pencil into it. His works can now be found in many public and private collections and at international art fairs, such as the Collection de l’Art Brut, Switzerland, the Diamond Collection, Austria, and the Drawing Now, France.
