The Nippon Foundation Diversity in the Arts 2nd + 3rd International open-call exhibitions were held together in 2021 in Japan - one being delayed due to Covid-19. Works were selected for both exhibitions by seven judges, with artists submitting from around the world.
German artist Robert Fischer was selected as an award winning artist for the 2nd Open exhibition and his featured in both venues. Artist and adult survivor Terence Wilde’s work was selected for both the 2nd+3rd Open exhibitions as great examples of International artists work, as well as Japanese self-taught artist Shinya Fujii. Both these artists had their work shown in the second venue only.
