Paul Laster is a writer, curator, artist, lecturer, and contributing editor at Whitehot Magazine of Contemporary Art. In June 2021 he listed Shinichi Sawada as 1 of 15 artists he wanted from the Takashi Murakami curated exhibition ‘Super Rough’ exhibition in New York. Sawada is in good company alongside many great artists including Hawkins Bolden, James Castle and Judith Scott.
