Five artists selected for RA Summer Exhibition 2021
This year, five artists from the Jennifer Lauren Gallery have been selected for the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. From icons to the up-and-coming, over 1,300 works were selected by coordinator Yinka Shonibare and a panel of artists, under the theme of ‘Reclaiming Magic’. Held every year without fail, the Summer Exhibition is a celebration of contemporary art and architecture. Anyone can enter their work – leading artists, household names, new and emerging talent – and it provides a platform for the artistic community to showcase what they’re doing.
The five artists selected from the Gallery are: Miguel Angel Hernando, Kate Bradbury, Norimitsu Kokubo, Shinichi Sawada and Terence Wilde. I am absolutely thrilled for these artists, and you can see installation photographs from my phone below.
The exhibition runs 22 September 2021 – 2 January 2022.
