Art et al. - A new inclusive online curatorial platform
Art et al. is a new, inclusive, curated online platform that commissions and presents collaborations between artists from supported studios, artist peers and arts professionals. It highlights diverse voices and creative practices. These collaborations and partnerships will result in commissioned writing, original multi-media content, and both digital and in-person exhibitions, expanding the scope, role, and definition of contemporary art.
Art et al. is founded by myself, alongside Sim Luttin of Arts Project Australia (Northcote), and Lisa Slominski of Slominski Projects (London). We identified a need for more inclusive programming and access points into the contemporary arts sector for neurodivergent, intellectually, and learning disabled artists to be seen, heard, and participate. Art et al. is shaped by Australian and UK advisory groups of artists who self-identify as neurodivergent, and intellectually or learning disabled and provide essential feedback for the cross-cultural growth of the platform.
Art et al. is an ongoing initiative and will be releasing original content monthly. Check out the website below and give us a follow on social media to hear about new content releases, as well as our #MondayMuse - a showcase of a new artist every Monday!
