Stephen Wright
When Stephen Wright sits in front of a plate or a jug or any piece of ceramic, he feels that he opens up mentally and images come to him. He believes he is in touch with the other side and the characters show themselves to him. Wright feels they need to be seen though his work whether in the form of ceramics, paintings or costumes. This is the same as his 'House of Dreams Museum' - a life project, that he has been working on in his house and garden in East Dulwich in London, for 21 years.
