Exhibition dates: 19 September – 12 December 2025
Center for Creative Works (CCW, Philadelphia, PA) and Jennifer Lauren Gallery (Manchester, UK) are thrilled to announce an exciting collaborative project with Haverford College’s John B. Hurford ’60 Center for the Arts and Humanities. Major support for Look Here is provided by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, with additional support from Haverford College's Hurford Center and Atelier Fine Art Services.
Look Here, launching September 2025, is a multiphase project that focuses on the changing narrative around art created in progressive studios and illuminates how neurodivergent artists challenge and expand conventional approaches to artmaking. Foregrounding accessibility, Look Here invites the public to enjoy and engage with artwork, learn about the multifaceted studio practices of artists, and expand their awareness of and engagement with progressive studios that support disabled artists across America, and amplify their artistic voices.
The primary elements of the Look Here project include concurrent exhibitions, a large-scale symposium, and the release of a first-of-its-kind publication on the work of progressive studios.
We can’t wait to share more with you as the project and plans develop!
